Skip to Simmer does not collect personal information.
The app and the Safari extension have no account, no analytics, and no advertising. They do not send recipe pages, saved recipes, or settings to Rudduck Consulting, LLC or to anyone else. There is no server for this app.
When you tap Save, the recipe title, source address, yield, ingredient lines, and steps are stored on that device. The app and the extension share that library through an Apple App Group so the extension can write a recipe and the app can show it. The photo address from the page may be stored as text. The app does not download the photo.
Deleting a recipe removes it from the device. Deleting the app removes the library.
When you choose Find advance prep, the app gives the saved recipe’s steps to Apple’s on-device language model. The app displays the selected steps as a temporary checklist. It does not save the checklist or its completion state to the library.
On a page where you have allowed the extension, it looks for a schema.org Recipe in the page's JSON-LD. It uses that to draw a recipe card. It does not read the rest of the page for any other purpose, and it does not upload what it finds.
The card may display a photo using the image address already published on that page. That display is handled by Safari. The extension does not add its own network requests, and it does not send the address anywhere.
The automatic-open setting and the cups or grams choice are stored on the device in the same App Group. They are not synced to an account.
Skip to Simmer does not track you. The App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
The app is not directed at children, and it does not collect information from anyone.
